FORT LEE LIVING
There are many reasons to live in Fort Lee - beyond our wonderful shul! Fort Lee boasts many luxurious high rise buildings with breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the NYC skyline. There are a number of buildings with Shabbat elevators plus white glove amenities including doormen, indoor and outdoor pools, health clubs and more. Many offer facilities designed for children including outdoor play grounds, indoor play rooms, and kiddie pools.
An eruv covers most of Fort Lee, extending from just south of the George Washington Bridge to the most south ends of town. There is also a community mikveh, housed at the nearby Sephardic Synagogue.
Fort Lee is just a few short miles to neighboring towns such as Englewood, Teaneck, Bergenfield and Englewood where kosher stores and restaurants abound, many of which deliver to Fort Lee.
Fort Lee also offers numerous parks for enjoyment by adults and children alike, a summer Shakespeare in the Park series across the street from the synagogue and a summer concert series at the Fort Lee Community Center. The Fort Lee Recreation department offers summer and year-round programs for kids, adults and seniors.
